Hot flashes ...sign of labor?

I’m almost 36 weeks. For the past three days I have crazy horrible hot flashes at night. I mean I need a fan, the air conditioner, and a wet towel draped over me for comfort. Its kept me up for hours now. Is this just normal late pregnancy? Or is this a sign of labor soon?

I started getting them a week ago at 29-30 weeks and they suuuuuck

I’ve had that for weeks. I get them all day long at random times. 38 weeks now and still no sign of baby

This happened to me a few weeks ago my dr said its just hormones. But make sure its not a fever

Thanks everyone. Ugh I figured it was hormones but was really hoping to see anecdotal stories about people getting them a week or two before labor lol
