Bleeding at 7 weeks

I am 7 weeks pregnant and have had quite severe diarrhoea for the last two days which I had put down to picking up a bug. I am still having to go a lot this morning but I have noticed today that I am now bleeding from my vagina when I go to the toilet. It's not heavy but I have noticed a couple of small clots on one of the visits.

I have called my early pregnancy unit who have said that until i fill a pad I am not to call them again. I had one miscarriage 9 years ago and experienced a lot of severe period type pain which I am not experiencing at the moment.

Just wondering if anyone has ever experienced the same thing as I am starting to panic. Thanks
