Sex after CSection

I am 7 weeks pp. It was not a scheduled csection. I fully dilated and pushed for 4 hours before we went in for a csection. I had my 6 week checkup last week and my OB just checked my incision. He did not do a vaginal exam. I followed up after my appt to ask if sex was okay to resume and was told yes. I’ve read a lot online and most women talk about their OB checking their cervix at the 6 week and getting an all clear before having sex to ensure there’s no risk of infection. Does any of this sound accurate or familiar to anyone?
