Anyone ever take provera?

I usually have very regular periods. This month, I was already 8 days late with all bfns when we went to see a fertility doctor for a consult. I need my period to start in order for the testing to be done. And I am now 10 days late. The doctor called in a provera script for me and I started it today. Has anyone taken provera before? How many days after did you start your period? TIA

it works, I'm taking it now.. but u can add a supplement to help increase your reproductive system. it's called maca, u can get it at GNC.. helps bring your periods back to somewhat normal.. and helps with fertility..

I took it once, prescribed provera for ten days, period started seven days in.

ive taken it 4 or 5 times, for 10 days then a period shows up 1-3 days after the last pill

I take it due to irregular cycles. The first time I took a 10mg dose for 10 days to start a new cycle, I want to say that my period came within 5 days. I now take a low dose of 5mg during cycle days 14-28 to set a normal 28 day cycle & it comes like clock work.

Thank you ladies. My body is going crazy... Yesterday morning, I was getting ready to go pick up the prescription. While peeing, I saw drops of blood and got excited that it was my period. Called and scheduled all my appointments. But then I had nothing after those few drops. So I cancelled all the appointments and took the first tablet this morning. Now I just went to use the bathroom and my period came. So I have to call back on Monday and pray they can squeeze me in to get the tests done...
