TMI please help

8 weeks PP already, got my period at 6 weeks and then it ended, no bleeding for a few days then out of no where bleeding started again but spotting, really idk what spotting means but I go through panty liners every couple of hours. My gyno didn't check me at 6week check up, all he did was ask me how bleeding and period was and that's it. I called to tell him about the bleeding and got the "it's normal" response. I have a feeling it's really not normal. Anyone went through this or know anything about it ??
