14 year old shot at for asking directions

So here goes another one. A 14 year old black teenage boy missed the bus, got lost and stopped at a house he saw a "neighborhood watch" sticker on to ask for directions only to get shot at by the homeowner with a shotgun. Luckily the shooter missed so the boy is ok, although I'm sure shaken up and probably traumatized... Are we finally going to see someone face consequences? This is crazy out of hand. What should the man be sentenced to, if you think any? (I sure hope you do 👀). Do you all think the excuse "feared for my life" should be so easily upheld? I wanted to post this on here since reading that "all lives matter" post recently, there was quite a few that think what's going on in the U.S right now is perfectly normal 👀

I'm just so happy this boy made it out alive and is able to tell the real version of the story instead of some b.s story the shooter would have made up otherwise.
