Need advice!

So my fiance and I have been together for almost 6 years and have been ttc for about 4 yrs. I have an 8 yr old daughter, and he doesn't have any. I'm worried something could be wrong with one of us and that's why we're having difficulty getting prego. I went to have an exam(OBGYN) a few months ago and was told that I have pre cancerous cells....does this cause infertility? I haven't been back to get tested again because my insurance got all messed up! So I'm worried that this could be a factor....also should he go get checked too?
