If you have a blighted ovum does your hcg keep going up?  My doctor is ignoring the 3 ultrasound reports that all say no growth, no fetal pole, no yolk sac, and no heartbeat.  Instead he keeps having me test my hcg.  It has never doubled.  On 6/5 it was 1661 (measured 5 weeks 4 and 5 weeks 6 days on two gestational sacs).  On 6/8 it was 2672.  6/13 back in ER it was 6118.  6/15 it was 6121.  Yesterday it was 7050.  He says that means I am still pregnant.  But at 7 weeks 4 days there was no signs of a fetus, so no heartbeat, and no growth of the gestational sac.  So am I being silly and should trust him or is he not wanting to look at all the facts and see there is something wrong?
