pregnant after 2 miscarriages

I had my first miscarriage 2 years ago at 6 weeks, then 5 months after that I got pregnant and miscarried at 12 weeks. I decided to be put on birth control because I couldnt stand losing another. Last month we decided we are ready so I got my Nexplanon removed March 20th. Today I took a test because I felt pregnant. It was positive. I am very happy, but I really dont want to miscarry again. Any ways to prevent it? Has anyone else been through something similar?
