Bad sleeper

My son is 8 1/2 months old and still wakes up all night. I feel like I’ve literally tried everything. I’ve read a million pages, books, posts, my son still wakes up 2-5 times a night. I’m so tired some days i just want to break down. Anyone else have this problem? Anything help you? Is this ever going to end??

Check Natalie Wilkes out! I was able to sleep train my baby at 7 months without cio method. The key is to nap and sleep train. My baby sleeps from 7pm-7am! He used to wake up several times a night before that. He is breastmilk fed (I pump and bottle feed) and I cut out night time feedings, he naps at 9am and 1pm, has last dinner at 5pm, bath time at 6pm and bottle and bed at 6:30pm-7pmThis is Natalie’s website https://www.babysleeptrainer.com

Also, I learned that babies need to go to bed early, and no later than 8pm. That’s why my son wasn’t sleeping well

Did you try the sleep lady method ? We were very reluctant to try any sort of sleep training but this one seemed to work for us. We had to stick with it despite a few tough nights. She was feeding quite a few times a night even though pediatrician had already said she didn’t need it. It’s not that she doesn’t wake, she does but she now mildly whines and puts herself to sleep on her own. We don’t even go into her room. So that’s what you are aiming for.

We did but it only worked once we stopped feeding her during the night. She would still cry outraged once a night if she was expecting a bottle

Did y’all do the shuffle? Or just let her fuss? We had good success with cio early on, but now she wakes up at least once a night and I’d like to sleep more. Haha I know she doesn’t need to eat that much!

I was in rough shape when i posted this... I ended up getting so tired i tried CIO. I didn’t think i had any other choice.. I think he was tired too bc he only cried 10 mins two separate times the first night. He normally cries for hours when I go in there so it was a huge improvement. Slept the whole night the next night from 8-7:15. Slept 8-4:50 ( which is still great) last night. I’m hoping to keep this going...

I started keeping her up. She usually takes three naps a day. I keep her awake for the last one. When she goes down around 12ish...it’s for at least 8-9 hours. It’s not the best time. It used to be 10pm-10/11am, but it’s better than waking up all night.
