Do you, as a prolife, support sex education in school?

Early sex education prevents unwanted pregnancies which prevents abortions. I don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t support it

I don't support it for my own children. My children will be going to private Christian schools. I want to be in control of teaching my children about sex, as I believe it is the responsibility of the parent. I'll also be teaching abstinence in my house. I understand not all parents have the talk with their kids, so that's what I'm not vehemently agaisnt it in school, but I think it is a parent's role, and it's sad that schools ever needed to step in.

I’ll contrast sex education from theology of the body. The previous is about practicing ‘safe sex’ while the latter is about the ‘spousal meaning of the body.’

I most definitely think it should come from parents, but not every child will get that education from their parents and if they have to turn to schools teaching sex education, I'm okay with that. I'd much rather all children be educated on sex than worrying about who's teaching it.

The more you know about sex and how your body works the less likely you are to get pregnant by accident! I also support birth control. Better preventing a baby from happening than aborting it once it has happened

It's hard to see whether it's a blessing or curse.Where I live it has not prevented much anything. Sex ed starts at 5 grade . There are Lots of teen moms and / or stds amongst those on birth control. They do blood drives at the high school and that's when many students found out they had aids. They should promote adoption as an option in those classes too. But now part of the problem is exposure through media.
