Do you think most pro-life people do a good job defending their position?
I am pro-life, and generally speaking I think there are people on both sides of the abortion discussion that make poor arguments that actually hurt their side and make them look less educated or informed.
I am Lutheran, but my pro-life beliefs are not religiously based. I often hear people argue pro-life by bringing God and the Bible into it, and I find it profoundly frustrating because it further ties the abortion issue to a religion that (lets be honest) not all people believe in or want a part of. I feel like it opens the door for pro-choice individuals to write off the effort as ‘religious fanatics’.
Please vote the poll question, but share your opinion on how effective you think most pro-life arguments really are. (Feel free to disagree with me if you think religious perspective is very important to include)
