I survived 🙏🏽❤

For the first few months of my mother's pregnancy with me, her tests kept appearing negative. She finally went to a doctor, where her pregnancy was confirmed. She set up her appointment to have her pregnancy with me terminated, but by that time, her state declared it too far along to have the procedure done. Despite having a rather rough childhood growing up poor, with my father in and out of the picture, I thank God everyday I am here and am alive. My father has changed his life and accepted the Lord into his life. He told me this story and asked for my forgiveness. I almost didn't make it, perhaps if my parents had been in another state, I wouldn't have. I am now a wife and mother to three beautiful children. I am a successful orthodontist with my own practice, where I employ several people. I have many good friends and am an active member of my church and give back to my community. I am an activist for fatherhood, and have helped many fathers connect with their children. I am so grateful to be here, and that my life was sparred. Life is precious. I wanted to share my story with you all. I hope that my story will inspire others. Hardships are a part of life, but life itself is beautiful and we can overcome anything.
