BV vs Yeast

I really thought I had a bacterial infection. I was having slight itching, very uncomfortable down there in general, no "white discharge" (normally associated with yeast), and its smells weird... Ok, all the symptoms of BV. I went in and I have a yeast infection, tested negative for bacterial. But supposedly, odor isn't associated with a yeast infection. So, I'm confused. I've NEVER had a problem with that before. I'm also pregnant... So I don't know if this odor thing is a pregnancy thing or what. :/
