The boyfriend that offers you to buy stuff but doesn't do it. Sucks🙁

I really feel down when my boyfriend tells me that he'll buy me this or that and doesnt do it. Sucks when I don't even ask him for anything but he's the one for offering that he would. He told me that for our next month he'd get me a gift, a sephora gift card since he knows I love makeup. I didn't ask him to get me one he offered and today is the day we make another month. I was expecting it today but he didn't and it sucks🙁 before he even told me hed buy me a bike so we could bike together but I know thats not happening. He's that type of guy that just says things and doesn't do them😞 it really bothered me today tho. It sucks, he works too but what bothers me more is that he offers and then he gets me excited for no reason. What can I do to feel better?
