Skipping period on Nuvaring?

Question

When I do am I supposed to keep my ring in for the 3weeks and place the new one in on the day I take my old one out? Or should I keep my ring in for four weeks and put the new one in when I would usually put it in

You’re suppose to keep the ring in for 3 weeks and remove on week 4 for the whole week ( week 4 is when your period is suppose to come). Then place a new Nuva ring to start back over. You can also leave in the Nuva ring during week 4 to  stop your periods if you wanted. Just make sure to change it to the new ring after week 4. I used it for years and never gotten pregnant .
