My mother!

I dropped a hint tonight to my mom that we are trying for baby#2, she straight up told me there won’t be another baby because she can’t afford another grandchild. I told her it wasn’t her decision to make and that we want another and again she said no. How do I make her understand that this is happening and it’s got nothing to do with her wants or wishes but not cause a rift between us? I love my mom but this is crazy!

Suppose I should have mentioned this before, she doesn’t financially support me in any way, & we live in different states.
