New birth control? HELP

Okay, so I’ve been on the Nuvaring for almost two years. First year, great. Then it started going down hill...

My periods sometimes come, sometimes don’t. About a year and a half in I started getting anxiety and having anxiety attacks (which I’ve never had in my 21 years of living). My emotions had gotten so bad during the week I took it out for my period that my doctor put me on medication and recommended leaving it in for the fourth week. Well I still leave it in for the fourth week but it never stops my period, when it does decide to show. I’ve never had any issues with my period so my use for birth control is to simply not get pregnant.

So I’m looking to get new birth control... I’ve already taken the pill before but I have trouble remembering to take it which is why I switched to nuvaring in the first place.

I’ve been think about the arm implant or an IUD. Looking for something with little to no maintenance and that’s not going to make me crazy after a year of having it. Only thing I worry about with the IUD is if my boyfriend can feel it during sex? (I mean he’s not the hugest in the world but he’s not small either)

So I need some help, what’s worked best for y’all?
