Out again this month 💔

So I've started to spot which is the start of my period. I've known it was coming for days but was starting to think the cramps might be something else as it wasn't showing up. We have been ttc for a year now. I have had hormone tests and they are ok, hubby is fine too. I definitely think there is something wrong though for the following reasons. 1) cycles are 35-40 days 2) I have cramps 7-10 days before period arrives 3) this month for the first time I have had some pink spotting after sex. 4) we have sex regularly and at the right times and it's not happening!

What do you think is wrong? I'm going to go back to the doctors to see what else they can do. They said last time I would need to wait for longer but I just know there is something not quite right. I've tried acupuncture a couple of times this cycle so I'm hoping this might have a positive affect but not sure if I'm just wasting my time and money. I don't know how I'm going to wait another 40 days for the same thing to happen again, it's such a long time. ☹️
