15 month old weaning , help !

My daughter is 15 months old ( a little over a year ). I’ve breastfed her since she was born but used to formula feed to. Now she’s on whole milk and still breastfeeds . Her nursing is very irregular and never lasts long. Since she’s gotten older she doesn’t latch correctly and it’s super uncomfortable. And she wants to nurse all night( she has since she was born ) and I just think it’s time to wean her but have no idea how. Any tips or ideas ? Can I do it quickly or is it better to do it slowly ? I can’t really cut out feedings because she doesn’t have scheduled nursing times. Please help
