Teething pain or no?

My son is 6 months old and for the past week every single night we whines or screams off and on all night long. I’m up with him at least every 30 minutes. For a few nights the only way to get any sleep was have him in the bed. That doesn’t work anymore. He’s completely fine during the day. He also has an amber teething necklace on. The only way to get him to get any rest is a dose of Tylenol before bed, but it wears off during the night and I don’t think about giving him anymore. Could he just have teething problems like this only at night?
