is it sketchy that my boyfriend always deletes all of his messages besides mine? he says he's always done it and he just hates that they are there.. but idk

If he's always done it no its not, my partner always deletes messages except off of me, his best friend and his mum. Doesn't bother me in the slightest as he's always done it too. I do mine but not as often as he does his.

I would say for majority of people, it probably is sketchy. BUT, I can't say that is true for everyone. I have the craziest case of being obsessive and clean and orderly (it does not interrupt my life and I've never been diagnosed with OCD, so, not that- I'm just weird I guess), so every now and then I clean my phone out and I'll delete all my calls and messages, aside from mine and my husband's to each other. I'm sure my husband thinks I'm crazy, but I always inform him that I'm going to do it beforehand so he knows it's not like I'm hiding anything.

I don't think so. My fiancé always deletes all of his messages every day. He's done that since day one, I have never felt a need to give it a second thought. He never hides his screen from me or protects his phone. He just likes having a clean message inbox. 
I wouldn't put too much thought into it unless he's doing other things that make you question. If he's simply deleting texts maybe he likes a clean inbox too!
