when i get a pap smear done ? lol i know i’m a little wuss and pusey but i get a little nervous, (throwing up , and feeling dizzy and light headed ) especially getting my 1st pap smear ever? im not good with pain will i be ok ?? will i bleed too ??

It doesn't hurt honestly. It lasts like 30 seconds. Its more so uncomfortable than painful. I didn't bleed at all.

Yes, you’re mom should be allowed in the room. Find another doctor if they try to tell you no. 
You shouldn’t bleed. They typically do a cervix swan to test for STDs and HPV, but it shouldn’t make you bleed. Take some ibuprofen a couple hours beforehand, drink plenty of water, and eat a small snack. That should help with any minor cramps during it. 
Overall a pap should not be painful. Minor cramping is expected, but not extremely painful.

They don't hurt a little. Getting blood drawn is worse. This is painless. Sure your mom can stay but sounds like you are stressing yourself out over such a quick thing. It not bad.

I’m not good with pain neither and the papsmears actually aren’t that bad. I think the part that bother me the most is the doctor opening me up. You could bleed, but that’s also very common and it won’t be much it’ll be like light spotting.

I bleed a little sometimes with mine. It just depends on your body. It’s awkward but it’s over quick! And they do this all day long, it’s their job, they’ve seen it all. So try to relax and it’ll be over quickly.
