I stupidly threw away my digital reader thinking it was a pregnancy test 🙈 does this mean ovulation is close or do I need the reader for it to be accurate ?

test line has to be the darker or the same color as the control line. keep testing.

You need the reader for it to be accurate. My positive stick (which resulted in a smiley on the reader) and negative stick from the day after both looked exactly the same as far as the color on the 2 lines. Neither was much darker than the other.
