My taxes got rejected!!!!!

So this is my first time I have had to do my taxes because this is my first real job. I started working in November if 2017and still filed. So I just looked and my taxes are rejected because my mother claimed me!!! I do not live with my mother, I am 23, and she has not once helped pay for anything for my schooling or anything towards work. So I texted her and she said she had every right to claim me because I only worked 2 months last year. But now does she have the right to claim me if I don’t live with her and she never helped pay for anything I needed. What do I do?! Will I get in trouble from the IRS?? Do I file as a dependent now?? Will I still get my tax return? Idk what to do!
