Did you squeeze babies breasts to get milk out ?

Question

In my husbands country when a baby is born with milk in their breast they squeeze it out . I don’t want to do that to my daughter , I don’t want to hurt her . So I’m curious about other moms what they do . If you do squeeze it out why ? If you don’t/didn’t what happens to the milk ?

No, leave it alone. Nothing happens if you leave it alone but you can give baby infection or abscess if you mess with them. Its normal from moms hormones.

For everyone comment quit telling me not to squeeze them . Read the post clearly I said I didn’t want to AKA as in IM NOT GOING TO ! I posted this in curiosity (AS STATED IN THE POST) to see what how other moms felt or what they did . An what happened to the milk when left alone . It’s a cultural thing . Not my culture tho . Please read clearly and quit assuming . That’s so irritating .

My babies nipples were hard and first I was like what the hell thats not normal then I read up on it and it’s very normal. She’s almost 6 weeks now and it’s completely gone. I didn’t do anything just left them alone. Also I don’t think it’s like a religious thing with your husband because I’ve never heard of that. My husband is Latino and one time his mom told me to lick our daughters forehead because she was outside all day so that she wouldn’t get sick lol. So I know they have some odd things like that. If you don’t want to be rude just say you did it already? 🤭 but really theres no need. Just tell him you don’t feel comfortable because you can cause your baby to get a hurtful infection

My first had “witches milk” and baby period due to breastfeeding hormones from me. I was told not to express the baby milk. I didn’t. It went away quickly (in a week or so)

When my first born was a baby, my mother kept telling me that I needed to squeeze her boobs because they were hard. But I refused because no nurse or doctor had ever heard of it before. Fast forward two years later, and she has ‘breast buds’, my doctor said that they had never seen that on a two year old. 
When my second came along, I let my mum squeeze his boobs, because I did not want boobs on any son.
