Ovulation strips don’t match!

I finished my last dose of clomid two days ago. I thought it was supposed to take several days after the last dose of clomid to start ovulating, but I started experiencing dull ovarian pain this morning and, according to my Clearblue, I’m ovulating (it’s a solid smiley). My other ovulation strip, however, is negative...so am I ovulating? The doctor gave us a very specific schedule for BDing (today, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday). He strongly warned us against doing it every day (lower sperm count), but - if I’m ovulating - I’m willing to scrap the schedule and do it tomorrow too.
