Confused

So after 7 months of ttc I had a gyno scan checkup and I was informed that I was actually ovulating a week later than all apps told me. This confused me a little as I am always regular when it comes to starting my period. So this month we started ttc a week later. I was due on my period yesterday and still no sign!

I took a test and it came back negative, however it had a faint line in the result box going horizontal.... positive should have been one vertical line.

do you think it’s too early to test as I would have only ovulated a week ago?

Or should I do another test?
