Anyone ever been told that their gestational sac is abnormally shaped?
I went in to see my doctor as I had 3 STRONG positive pregnancy tests but I began to have some bleeding.
She sent me to have an ultrasound.
The tech did a transvaginal ultrasound and saw the gestational sac (no fetal pole or heart beat) but she said that was normal as the baby was only measuring 5 weeks 6 days.
However, she said the fact that the gestational sac is abnormally shaped is “not a good sign”
My doctor then told me it looks like a good sign because I have a gestational sac therefor I have not miscarried. I go back on Monday to have more bloods drawn to compare my levels, as well as another ultrasound in 2 weeks.
However google is scaring the poop out of me, it seems that all “abnormally shaped gestational sacs” end is miscarriage.
Has anyone experienced this?
Thank you!
