Can you get pregnant on your period?

On my app when it says I'm having my period it has no percentage sign on the days I'm supposed to have my period. So does that mean I can't get pregnant on my period?

The conception date they gave me for my son was during the week I was on my period.

In order to get pregnant you need to be ovulating. Only way that could happen is if you ovulate late the week before a period.
