Cervix

I tried feeling for my cervix and I can’t feel it. This is my first time so I really don’t know what I’m looking for. But I do have long acrylic nails also.. could that be why? I literally stuck my entire middle finger up there and when I took it out all I got was a nail full of creamy white discharge. It had a slight smell to it nothing fishy or anything just a mild smell I think it’s normal. Besides that how can I feel for it? I’m 7 dpo
