Mixed religion marriage?

Question

I'm Mormon and my fiancée is Catholic. We talk often about religion, and how neither of us really wants to convert to the other's religion (though he's been a tiny tiny bit open to converting to Mormonism). Anyone in a mixed religion marriage? Or did you or your SO compromise and choose one or neither? How did/does it work for you?

my husband is Catholic and I'm an atheist. It can work if your upfront about where you are willing to compromise. For instance, I agreed to allow our son to be baptised Catholic (it's more a cultural tradition/rite of passage for him) but when it comes to teaching him about religion we agree to expose him to all walks of life and choose for himself what makes sense and only when he expresses curiosity. It can work but it will only work if there's give and take and a lot of discussions and hairy debates.

I am Catholic and my husband was raised without religion. We choose to attend the Catholic church together on occassion and will be rasising our children Catholic. This was a non negotiable for me that was talked about very early on in our relationship and we both made our cases and spoke in depth about religion before we got married so there would be no miscommunication or hurt feelings. My family is very open to most religions though and I have a brother who chooses to raise his family in his wifes religion. Having that outside family support is very important too when dealing with a dual religion household.

My mom is Mormon and my dad is atheist. I’m the only one out of all of my siblings that goes to church. My parents kind of did their own things religion wise. My dad would come to church for the primary program and stuff like that but otherwise he wasn’t interested. They were very diplomatic about religion though

I'm Catholic, my fiancé is atheist. I invite him to church but never force it upon him. He has come a few times, he even tried taking communion and confirmation classes (didn't work out but he tried). I don't push my beliefs on him and he doesn't try to take me out of mine.

Not really relationship but my best friend (of 13 years- we met in August of 2005 when we were 4th graders) is Mormon-LDS and I’m agnostic. She’s skipped going to church numerous times to hangout with me and I’ve attended with her on Sundays. We were both very open-minded about how the other was raised and respect each other enough to embrace our differences. 
If our friendship of almost 13 years can withstand that, I’m certain your marriage can too. You love each other for who the other is- not what faith you follow. I suggest compromise and going together with arms wide open for the other- not trying to convert each other. It gives you a better grasp of the others ideologies and beliefs, and can give you a better respect and understanding for why they do/say the things they do.
