What to do about this?

So I had toothache so I texted my dad when he was at work about going to the dentist and he made an appointment for Friday but I'm busy so I told him and said if I had.to wait a few weeks it would be fine.

But now he's bitching at me because apparently it's for attention even though it's not. The only reason I said a few weeks would be fine is because the pain comes and goes its not there all.the time.

How can I ignore when he does shit like this?
