So I went in on the 17th to get my birth control, told them about my last period that lasted about 3 days (weird) they did a pregnancy test and then went on with the procedure of putting the mirena in. After the appointment they handed me a sheet to give to the front desk. Well as I was looking at it, it said my HCG level was 35. But they marked negative. Well thinking nothing of it I went on with my day. Last night I got a little curious about what your level needs to be, to be considered pregnant. It says anything ABOVE 5!!!! I’m really hoping my level was like 3.5 and I just misread the decimal. But what happens if you are pregnant and get the mirena!? Ps. I’m calling my dr tomorrow to see what the hcg level was.
