did anyone get late positives using hpt?

I am on cycle day 50 now and havnt tested since a week after my period  was supposed to start. I figure I am not pregnant and something else is going on... just wondering if you ladies ever had a problem getting the BFP to show up on a home test.

it's a lot more common to skip a period and not be pregnant, than it is to be this late, be pregnant and not get a positive yet.
dont get me wrong, some never get a positive test and find out they are pregnant, by blood test or ultrasound. its possible you dont have enough hcg in your system,  to pick up a positive on a test. however,  that's rare. it's more common to simply skip a period that month for no reason, than it is to be pregnant and not get a positive after all this time. 
treat it as a skipped period, in my opinion.
if you miss it again, you should see an ob.

By cd 50 there’s a very good chance you aren’t pregnant. I would however see a doctor because not having a period for that long signals a bigger issue that need to be taken care of like an endocrine disorder like PCOS.

This test was taken on the 5th or 6th day of my missed period and this is as dark as it got I even took 3 more but blood and ultrasound confirmed I was pregnant!
