Ladies, I’m 18 weeks and 1 day today. For the last hour or so, my stomach has been extremely tight and painful, I’d say exactly where my uterus is. Could this be Braxton Hicks contractions? For those who have experienced it before or already, let me know what it feels like and if I could be wrong..

I’ll be 19 weeks tomorrow and I’ve been getting them for a while now. My stomach just gets tight. Don’t hurt at all, Just uncomfortable.

As a rule braxton hicks should not be painful, as a Midwife I would say if they are painful I would go and get yourself checked out

yess I had BH at 18 weeks. my OB said it's totally normal as long as it's not constant and getting closer together. I'm 21wks now and get them pretty much once a day for maybe an hour she said it's totally normal.
