When do you usually say "I love you" in a relationship?

I've seen some women say you shouldnt say I love you until you're out of the honey moon phase, and others say you should say it as soon as you feel it. What do you think?

We said it after like 6 months of dating. I don't think there's a right time frame, you just say it when the time feels right.

I think I told my S/O a couple of days but I was 13 at the time and here we are 24 and married with two kids so if it feels right then go ahead there’s no right or wrong time to say it

I said it when it was true and I had to think alot before I said it because it's such a heavy thing to say. My boyfriend told me he loved me first about 2 months into our relationship and it took me a whole month to say it back. Because to me that was a big step

I said it at one month but I had also just come out of emergency surgery and was on a lot of pain killers. 😂

When it feels right. I also think you should expect the other person to say it back just because you said it.
My now husband told me he loved me for the first time like 4 months into our relationship. But I didn’t tell him I loved him until a few months later when I was ready. He was super respectful about it. When I told him that I was very happy he felt like he was ready to tell me he loved me but I just didn’t feel ready and didn’t want to say it unless I meant it he was understanding and dropped it. It actually made him telling me he loved me more special because I knew he really meant it based off of how he handled me not saying it back for a while.

Personally if its not in the first few months I'd be concerned. But I think you just know faster at an older age so that probably contributes a lot in my case.

I generally say it quickly. My husband and I said it after five weeks. I said it to someone at a month too. Other times I didn’t say it at all. If I didn’t love someone by two months, I’d leave the relationship. That’s just my personal view though. Others fall slowly.
