35+3days hospital bag?

Question

Should I start packing it what are some of the stuff I should put in there
Should I get a belly band/waist belt? 
What should get for the baby?

I packed mine because I had an early labour scare last week 
For me:
- comfy undies that will fit maternity pads
- a couple of breastfeeding crops/bras
- socks/ slippers
- dressing gown
- comfy pyjamas
- day outfit for visitors 
- comfy going home outfit
- toiletries: soap, shampoo/conditioner, moisturiser, face wash, lip balm, toothbrush and paste, makeup, maternity pads, nipple pads
- phone charger
For baby:
- four outfits
- singlets/beanies/mittens and socks 
- newborn nappies
- wipes
- a couple of Muslin wraps

I went to the doctor today 35+6 and was told I should already have one packed (which I definitely don’t 😂) have you pre registered at your hospital? When we did they sent us a packet with a list of what they recommend for me baby and dad

I packed mine during labor with my first while I was timing contractions waiting for them to get close enough together to go in. The hospital provides most of what you need. I’ll pack:
Clothes to go home in, socks or slippers, toothbrush, lanolin, an outfit and blanket for the baby to go home in, a nursing pillow, my pillow.

I packed mine since I had a labor scare last week and wasn’t ready 😂. I have a one year old and felt like I overpacked last time. I packed:
   - comfy pjs ( I’m going to be having a repeat section and will be there a couple days)
   - bath robe
   - slipper socks that fit 😂
   - basic toiletries 
   - phone charger 
   - two outfits for baby 
   - comfy clothes to go home

I packed 2 bags, 1 for labor and one for after delivery (reccomended by a doula).                                                             in the labor bag I have mint gum, jolly ranchers, and hard candy to suck on, a robe for walking around in the hospital, a pair of flip flops, a pair of grippy socks, chapstick, hair ties and Bobby pins, tums (ive had terrible heartburn since second trimester), phone charger, birth plan, massage rollers, deoderant, lotion, Gatorade, a change of clothes for my fiancee and some snacks for him. If you want to wear your own clothes during labor pack those in there too.                        In the after delivery bag i packed the baby book (for footprints and hand prints), 3 comfy tops and 3 comfy loose pants (includes going home clothes for me), a pack of granny panties, mascara, toiletries (loofa, deoderant, toothbrush and paste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, all travel sizes) 2 nursing bras, boppy pillow, my own blanket from home, baby's going home outfit  (I packed 1 newborn size and 1 0-3 months incase newborn is too small), scratch mittens, grippy socks, and a cute swaddle blanket and headband for baby to have her picture taken in at the hospital (they offer newborn photography at my hospital).

My first born came at 35 weeks and some change and I didn’t have anything ready 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 It ended up being okay though. We had some friends get a bag for us and ended up using about half of it anyway. Obviously you want to pack a bag because you want to be comfy and have your own stuff, I’m not trying to downplay that, just take comfort that even if you completely forget everything, the hospital will supply almost everything you need minus a couple of outfits. 😊 Speaking of, I should probably pack mine. I’m 36+3 😬😂
