birth control problem

so started my birth control at 6 weeks postpartum, after 5 days I started bleeding like a period, this continued until yesterday when I started the placebo pills lol what the hell. I did read it can take up to 3 months to settle down into your system but I really hope I don't bleed through the entire next packet also, its so annoying and scary especially since I hemorraged at 4 weeks postpartum, the sight of seeing blood down there brings on such anxiety for me.
