Clomid success anyone??

I just got informed by my gyno that I need to loose 12 kg before I can get clomid treatment. 
What are you success stories on clomid to get my motivated for weight loss 😛

I got pregnant on my third round of clomid using some helpful tips I found on the internet, so by telling you this you will have a jumpstart on what to do ☺️ my best tips is when taking clomid drink lots of eater and take pure guafasin 5 days prior to ovulation and two days after. Clomid can make cervical mucus “hostile” for sperm (too thick, or not enough)  so to counteract that my final round, I took fertile CM by fertileaid and started taking pure guafasin. Make sure the only active ingredient is guafasin- anything else will dry it up completely.

I ended up getting this kind at Walmart for 98 cents and it had only pure guafasin so it was exactly what I was looking for and I only needed it once :) 👇🏻

On top of that I added “the trifecta to getting pregnant” a combination of guafasin, softcups and PreSeed (optional if you have good CM quality)

Basically you use guafasin to increase your chances by improving  the amount and quality of CM and then insert a soft cup after sex to keep semen pooled at the opening of your cervix, alternatively you can have your SO ejaculate into the cup and insert it directly (we alternated this method every other day 5 days prior to ovulation and two days after ovulation the cycle we got pregnant) if you suspect you aren’t making enough CM you can add some Pre-Seed to the cup before he ejaculates into it or before you insert it (it is MESSY upon removal so have some paper towels on hand, seriously!)  wiki how has a great article on how to do this and there’s also a Facebook group called “TTC using softcups” and they have TONS of information and suggestions to help you out.

!!!!Also my biggest tip is to use OPKS!!!!! Most women have a misconception that when you have PCOS opks are useless and that’s not true- especially when you are taking clomid and or metformin. PCOS is a spectrum disorder and some women actually do have regular cycles and can use them when using clomid to “confirm” ovulation. I say “confirm” because you can have an LH surge and not ovulate- only a progesterone test post ovulation can actually confirm and egg has been released and ovulation has occurred. If you really want to confirm for sure you can now buy progesterone test strips to take at home. Yes they are accurate though expensive but I know they work because I used them during the same cycle I conceived.

All these things and a confirmation of ovulation via at home progesterone tests I finally got pregnant in November and we are expecting our clomid baby July 18th!!

Also I forgot to mention I made a calendar to take the stress out of TTC. That way hubby knows what is expected of him on what days (he works a lot and can be too tired to perform sometimes so knowing we have to have sex that day and to mentally prepare for it despite being exhausted increased the chances of us being to BD or some a softcup insimination by A LOT) and the rest is easy going as stress free.
