Cats harmful?

Is it true cats are harmful during pregnancy me and my cat are close and snuggle in bed together every night so hope this isn’t true ???
My cat does her business outside and doesn’t have a litter box so we are fine ☺️ thanks

Just don’t clean the litterbox. Their pee has a chemical in it that’s unhealthy to breathe in

you can snuggle all you want, you will not get toxoplasmosis unless you are handling fresh poop of cats that eat raw meat, mice and birds and stuff.  since your cat goes to the bathroom outside,  I assume you don't touch it. no worries.

It’s only the litter box you want to be concerned about (ie. don’t be the one scooping or changing it out). There’s a chance of toxoplasmosis- but even then, the chances are extremely slim especially if you have an indoor only cat.

fecal matter from cats that consume raw meat aka eat mice, rats, birds,etc. This is were the toxins come from that can lead to toxins being toxcimic. If your not handling fresh poo you pretty much have no chance of catching...I've got inside outside cats and five kids plus I've changed the cat box while pregnant through all of them and never been sick, so enjoy your fur baby
