Second hand smoke

PLEASE no judgmental comments.

My baby is due in two days. I quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant and plan (🙏🏻🤞) to stay away from it once the baby arrives. Unfortunately everyone else that will be around the baby are smokers. My husband, parents, close friends, etc.

I will absolutely not have the baby around the smoke; however, I know that second hand smoke can linger on your skin and clothes as well.

I’m looking for suggestions on way to keep second hand smoke as far away from the baby as possible. I’m going to ask that people wear a “smoking jacket” or some sort of layer that can be taken off before they come in the house. I’m also asking that they wash their hands thoroughly after smoking.

Any other ideas/ suggestions? I don’t want to be the smoke police but I also want to protect my baby as much as possible.
