My first pregnancy was epidural. I wanted natural birth-didn’t happen. Had Gd. Baby swallowed meconium but was fine.

No warnings or heads up... out of 10 doctors not one of them told me or my husband why they would be keeping me and my baby there for 3 days. I didn’t realize this until half way through the year. Still don’t know why today.

Is normal to be held in the hospital 3 days after you deliver baby?

Just found out that if you get up to use the toilet with natural pregnancies. I had epidural first/last pregnancy and had monitor wrapped around belly, catheter, needle taped to hand AND I thought this was a part of a normal natural birth experience. I was wrong!
