Implant

I’ve recently had the rod after coming off the depo shot as I bled for about 10-11 weeks straight on it. I had irregular periods beforehand (I bled for a week every two weeks and it was super heavy and painful) but I decided to try a different form of birth control as I wasn’t ready to have another few months of bleeding constantly. Can anyone who has irregular periods and has had the implant comment on how it worked out for them? Like did your periods stop after a certain amount of time? Thankyou x
