Baby shower

so first I'm due 10/1. second my summers are CRAZY. I work FT at a place where overtime is often necessary in the summer and I also Photograph weddings & portraits etc. so summer is BUSY!

I feel that I really want my nursery done by 36 weeks just in case I go early. that's Sept 3rd for me.

July is pretty empty while August is super busy. so I really would prefer to aim for the last weekend of July for a shower. I'll be 31 weeks 7/30. I thought that was reasonable... but my friends think it's way too early... and don't understand why I don't just do it in September. like I want time to shop for what we don't get. this is my first and I want to enjoy and have time to decorate and stuff.

please tell me I'm not crazy and 31 weeks is totally fine!!!
