Say that you had sex the day before your period was due. Could having sex affect your period at all? Also say that you got pregnant the day before your period was due, would you still get your period?

So sperm can live in your reproductive system for up to 5-6 days and if you ovulate at any point, you could conceive. After conception, it takes 7-10 days on average for the embryo to implant and that's when your body starts making pregnancy hormones that would stop you from getting your period, cause pregnancy symptoms, and a positive test.

I'm not sure if I'm right or wrong about this but to me you wouldn't be pregnant yet. You still have to go through implantation that takes up I believe 6-12 days past ovulation I think it was. However if an egg didn't convince yet sperm can live inside for up to 5-6 days so you may not get pregnant now but it is possible if you ovulate sooner
