What size diapers did you go through the most with your little one(s)?

I’m a first time mom and wondering how many boxes diapers I may need in each size so can stock up before she comes. I just don’t want to get stuck with a bunch of diapers I don’t need 😬help!

Michelle is still in size 1s at 5 months she'll be 6months on the 15th. She just got her G J on Friday so hopefully she will gain some and go up on size in  diapers and clothes lol

I am waiting til my LO comes before I stock up. I did a diaper raffle at my baby shower and got a lot of Size 1 and some NB along with other sizes but I am not going to buy more until I see how big he is. I am only stocking up on wipes.

Check the weight limits! Size 1 in Pampers go from like 8-14lbs and size 3 goes from like 16-28 lbs. You can get away with not many size 2s. We went from size 1 to size 3 fast!

Also, I would definitely stock up. As long as you don't open a pack or box Walmart will let you exchange for another brand or size or return without a receipt as long as they carry the product returned. I would recommend getting different brands just in case baby is sensitive to a certain brand. Not sure why everyone is saying to wait, spread the bill out while your pregnant instead of having that to worry about buying too. I stocked up for my twins and it was sooo much easier!

It’s all about how they gain weight. 
My almost 20 month old hasn’t gained a full pound since her 1st birthday.

I wouldn't buy a whole ton of diapers as you don't know if baby will have sensitive skin. I stocked up on diapers and my daughter can't use any of them. We have to use Honest Company diapers.

I would say about a month in newborns, couple months in 1, maybe 4ish months in size 2, then my little girl wore size 3 until she was potty trained.

I’d just wait and see... I tried to be super organized and followed all these diaper buying guides...  but so far my daughter is 6 months already into size 3s... where as my best friends daughter didn’t wear size 3 until a year, so she obviously needed far more of the smaller sizes than I ever did. Her next baby was a boy and was into 3s by 3 months. It really just depends, so I’d just wait and see how big your baby is and how fast they grow. (And don’t judge based not ultrasounds approximations.. they are often way off)

Most people usually say they are in size 3 for a long time but mine was in 3 briefly and now has been in a Size 4 for several months.

So it’s not just my son he’s been in 3s for a long time seems like compared to the way he grew out of Nb and 1 and 2s
