Induced vbac?

Right now I’m planning on having a vbac 🤞 and my doctor said they can use small amounts of pitocin to help things along. But what happens if they need to induce? Has anyone here and a vbac that was induced?

I would go as natural as possible... I waited to go into labor naturally so I did not have to be induced... plus it would probably be more comfortable labor is you skipped pitocin and focused on staying active during labor

If you have a good Bishop score then you are a good candidate for induction.. if your body is ready for labour to begin, Pitocin will just help kickstart. Having said that my doc wasn’t ok using pit to start labour but only if labour stalled then she would use it to start up things again. 
At 40 weeks I was 2 cms dilated. She ruptured my bag and 1 hour later contractions started. I had a successful VBAC, you can read my story “my emotionally healing VBAC”. So you could ask your doc for a membrane sweep first and then AROM if you dilate.

Personally my doctor will not induce. I either have to go into labor on my own or I will need a c-section at 41w. They will do a sweep but that’s about it.

My surgeon told me I wouldn’t be able to be induced ever after my csection 🤷🏼‍♀️

I was induced at 37 weeks because of blood pressure. I was already 3cm and thin when I got to the hospital. My doctor did monitor me closely during labor. And less then 6 hours after starting pit I had my girl in my arms. I had to have a csection with my first after 2 hours of pushing and a failed vacuum attempt.
