Does he like me or just think im cute or am I overthinking?

He's a junior and I'm a sophomore. In class he always stares at me and when we had a group project he seemed to move closer to my group or smile and talk to me when I went to his group to talk to one of my friends (on purpose). When I was walking to my locker he was walking to so we were walking side by side. I saw him staring at me. I looked at him and he kept staring at me so I did the beyond scared straight thing with my head and he did it back smiling at me. It seems like he tries to talk to me sometimes or moves to the other side of the class to stare at me "secretly." (he sits in front of me and staring at me would he obvious).

Does he like me or am I just overthinking?
