Omg that’s absolutely horrible and disgusting. He should be expelled, registered as a sex offender, whatever else the law allows for punishment should be enforced on him to the fullest extent. That poor girl.

I'm not shocked. I'm from Marshall, which is nearby. All if East Texas is extremely republican and love their high school athletes and think women are subservient and should sit down, shut up, and deal with what men do to them. I hope he's charged to the fullest extent of the law, but I'd bet that he will face no repercussions and the girl will continue to be treated like a villain who brought this upon herself.

I'll never understand how being able run and  throw a ball at the same time allows you to get away with sexual harassment and blackmail. Also I would assume the assistant football coach is well over 18 and since the video was of a freshman girl (presumably 16) wouldn't that make him guilty of receiving and distributing child porn? And according to the (if I remember correctly) current laws the football player could also be charged with production and distribution of child porn. Fuck this football crazed society.

Wow. He needs charged and punished. That poor girl. I am so glad the mother pressed forward with this and is fighting for her daughter despite the school doing nothing.

Isn’t this considered child porn and the football player can be charged and made to register as a sex offender?  I mean the girl was a freshman, so like 14 or 15 at the time this happened.

I swear people act like football players are Gods or something. Since when is it ever okay for a boy to secretly video their female peers naked?? And I wanna see each of these parents who’re upset about that boy’s “football career”  being harmed. People need to stop rewarding foolishness. If he gets away with it and nothing’s done to him, he’ll only get worse.

It’s not the responsibility of the school district. It’s up to the police. The school isn’t responsible for students while they’re not on property. It wasn’t a school event. The kid distributing should be charged and held accountable.
